About the Programme
A National Network for Continuous Improvement
The National Quality and Productivity Network (NQPN) is a collaboration between South African industry organisations and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), established to spread Kaizen — the practice of continuous improvement — across South African manufacturing and beyond.
Through training trainers and consultants, NQPN builds local capacity to drive lasting quality and productivity gains from the inside out.
- Active in Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape — expanding nationally
- Trains South African Kaizen Trainers and Consultants to deliver in-company improvement programmes
- Backed by JICA, the dtic, and leading industry bodies including Productivity SA and AIDC
- Proven results: beneficiary companies have seen average productivity improvements of over 60%
