Productivity SA Chief Executive (CEO), Mr Mothunye Mothiba, vote of thanks at the occasion of Productivity and Competitiveness Summit

It is a privilege and honour for me to be in a position to relay my gratitude for today ‘s proceedings, which as the chairman of the board said, are taking place during Productivity Month, which is an annual campaign which aims to elevate the importance of productivity and inculcate a culture of competitiveness in every South African and demonstrate the positive changes that can be brought about through productivity improvement.

I therefore join the Programme Director and chairman of the board, Professor Mdwaba in wishing us all a happy Productivity Month. Indeed, Productivity Month gives us as a nation, an opportunity to reflect and focus our efforts on the culture of continuous improvement (KAIZEN in Japanese).

I thank the chairman and the board for providing us with unrivalled leadership.
