R104 million pledged to Productivity SA job-saving programme

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) has pledged R104 million to Productivity SA for the job saving programme Business Turnaround and Recovery Programme (formerly known as the Turnaround Solutions Programme).  The Business Turnaround and Recovery Programme is aimed at preventing job losses and implements turn-around strategies to support companies facing operationalwww.productivitysa.co.za difficulties which may result in the companies contemplating the retrenchments.

Productivity SA has run the programme for almost two decades and in the process has facilitated the prevention of jobs losses in South African companies.  Members of the media are invited to a Virtual Press Briefing whereby the Chairperson of Productivity SA Board, Prof. Mthunzi Mdwaba, will announce pledge as follows:
